The High Sheriff’s Awards are designed to reward the volunteers, charities and community groups in Buckinghamshire who devote their time and energy to improve the communities in which they live and work, to make Buckinghamshire a better and safer place.
Awards are for individuals and groups involved in building stronger communities, integration, social justice and/or youth crime prevention. The annual High Sheriff Awards provide an opportunity to recognise and celebrate some of the fantastic individuals and voluntary organisations who are helping to make our county better.
Michelle was delighted to be nominated and overwhelmed to be awarded “I am so proud to have won a High Sherriff’s Award – huge thanks to June Oldroyd – Philanthropy Director at Milton Keynes Community Foundation for your nomination and kind citation. To The High Sheriff Julia Upton and to the University of Buckingham for a wonderful evening. I was very honoured to be in such esteemed company. Congratulations to all the winners”.
