I absolutely love WIE!
I’ve got clients through this great organisation, but also and in some ways more importantly, made some lovely friends. It’s important we have a trusted support network.
I’d definitely encourage joining this group!
Women in Enterprise is a not for profit organisation that has been established for over three decades, making it probably the oldest networking group in Milton Keynes. We exist to nurture, inspire and challenge local working individuals.
We provide an environment of trust in which we support, collaborate and enable our members – and their businesses – to grow. Together we question, listen, challenge, empathise, and if asked offer honest, confidential advice founded on our own experiences and beliefs.
Women in Enterprise was established to encourage the passing of business between trusted colleagues, and has celebration – our successes, our talents, our efforts – at the very core of its being.
We openly support one another, recognising that this has the power to make a real difference to each and every one of us.

Women in Enterprise restored my faith in networking. Having spent months attending various networking events, I was at the point of giving up – I just felt like I didn’t belong. WIE was recommended to me, and it didn’t feel like networking. It was so relaxed, just like having lunch with friends. It gave me the confidence to go back to some of the groups I’d tried earlier, and although some of them still were not for me, I went with a renewed confidence knowing that in the rooms there were a couple of WIE members who had my back.
If you’re new to networking – or even if you’re not – then I would suggest this is a great group to try!
I absolutely love being a part of Women in Enterprise. I adore the atmosphere at events and particularly love the ethos behind the group.
It’s a real privilege to be welcomed by such wonderful women, those who support and empower each other without judgment and only look to lift each other higher, not drag each other down!
I arrived in MK just over a year ago, new to the world of business and knowing very few people.
Thanks to Women in Enterprise I quickly got to know a lot of people and learn about Milton Keynes and what it has to offer.Meeting other businesswomen in a friendly environment over lunch or coffee mornings is both enjoyable and informative.
I love the fact that everyone can share their experiences, challenges, and successes in a relaxed atmosphere.
It’s our aim to ensure that, even if you’re completely new to networking, you feel comfortable and get the most out of the time you dedicate to being with us – after all, we’re all busy people!
Committee members are always on hand to make you feel welcome, to answer questions and to help with introductions.
Our meetings are always well attended, vibrant events. We enjoy passing business to each other, collaborating and discussing issues that we face.
